God's providence is referred to in Scripture by the following six terms:
God's providence extends over all things. He rules over all substances and powers, and over the wills, thoughts, words, and actions of all living creatures. God hears the ravens when they cry; He directed the ravens to bring food to Elijah; not a sparrow dies without God's will; even the hairs of our head are numbered by Him. Everything is included: there is nothing that is outside of God's providence. |
