1. This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him;

What great contrast can be observed between verse 1 and 3? What sad result from this change is noted in verse 5?

Since man's fall, all infants that are born resemble their fallen father. All are born with the guilt and pollution of original sin.

The Lord Jesus Christ was the only exception. Why? Who was His Father? Of whom was He the express image, the "perfect picture"?
