1. That the Father would prepare a sinless body for Christ, and grant Him the anointing and supporting strength of His Spirit to conquer Satan (Genesis 3:15).

1. Grace and faith are promised to His church enabling them to believe and trust in Christ (the God-man Savior) and be delivered from Satan's power (Ephesians 1:5-7).

2. That the Father would deliver Christ from the power of death and grant Him eternal life (Psalm 16:10-11).

Through Christ...

2. The forgiveness of sins, resurrection from death, and the right to eternal life are promised to the elect (Hebrews 8:12).

3. That the Father would provide Christ with a seed, a church, which no man could number for multitude from all nations on earth (Psalm 22:27).

Through Christ...

3. The communion of saints with Christ, as their Head, and with each other, as His body, are promised to true believers (II Corinthians 6:16b).

4. That the Father would enable Christ to send forth the Holy Spirit to regenerate, instruct, sanctify, and preserve His church that all will be saved and none be lost (John 6:37,39).

Through Christ...

4. The Holy Spirit is promised to God's children to regenerate, work repentance in, instruct, sanctify, and preserve them forever (Ezekiel 36:26-27).

5. That the Father would grant Christ the rule over all things, both natural and spiritual, to the glory of God (Psalm 110: 1).

Through Christ...

5. All things present and future, for both natural and spiritual life, are promised to God's people (I Corinthians 3:21b-23).

6. That the Father would exalt Christ to His own right hand and grant His church to eternally be with Him, to witness the glory of God (John 17:24).

Through Christ...

6. The saved receive the blessings of heaven: to enjoy perfect communion with God, to live without sin, and glorify Him forever (Revelation 21:3).
