In summary, the Covenant of Grace stands unbreakably and eternally sure in God. All its requirements are fully satisfied in Christ. His people receive all the benefits they stand in need of, both for time and eternity, grace here and eternal life with God hereafter, through their eternal Covenant Head, the Lord Jesus Christ. Everything pertaining to man's entire salvation is contained in the wonderful Covenant of Grace! ![]() include "../doctrineincs/regufont.html"; ?>
As we have seen, the Bible speaks of God's Covenant of Grace as eternal and unbreakable and established only with His elect church, His spiritual seed. However, Scripture also speaks in several places of a relationship to the covenant as being breakable and of the natural seed of the church (all the circumcised or baptized), as being included in a covenant relationship with God. The following charts provide several example texts of both of these scriptural teachings. |
